Wadhwa, Kedrosky On Technology ‘Bubble’

Technology guru Vivek Wadhwa of Duke University and Paul Kedrosky, a noted investor and analyst in the tech and finance space debated whether there is a bubble in technology shares on Friday. The interview is very good, so I am posting it here.

My take: this run-up in social media shares will be ended ‘prematurely’ by a recession well before it run it course of its own accord.

I think that Facebook and Twitter are grossly overvalued. Dropbox is overpriced but does have an earnings model. The issue is, does it have a business model that generates cash. The issue is PE ratios are grossly over optimistic. The only ones making money are the investment banks.
