Case-Shiller Shows Home Prices Marginally Higher in April

The latest Case-Shiller Home Price Index update has come out (actually it came out yesterday). The data show an uptick in home prices on an unadjusted basis from March to April. The increase in home prices is consistent with increased demand from the Spring and Summer home-selling season. On a year-on-year and seasonally-adjusted basis, home prices are still down.
