Things have not calmed down yet and the Futures market is pointing to a very poor start to morning trading. We are looking at a minimum of 4% down right of the bat.

If the Plunge Protection Team exists, now is your time to act!

looks like they acted!
from 3PM to 3.30PM, the Dow Jones move from -7% to +3%. +10% in 30min! That will probably in in the books, although I am disappointed not to have a Black Monday, Black Thursday and Black Friday in the same week :-)

It sure looks very fishy to me too. Let’s see if we get any policy action at the weekend. I’m hopeful but not necessarily optimistic.
