Quote of the Day: Desmond Tutu

I am at the Clinton Global Initiative Annual meeting in New York right now and Bishop Desmond Tutu is talking to Charlie Rose about his latest humanitarian initiatives.

He is a remarkable man, full of energy and optimism. He said something about himself that I found wonderfully humble:

When you stand out in a crowd, it is only because you are being carried on the shoulders of others.

Fantastic. Would that that sentiment carried the day.
