Is Food Crisis Around the Corner?

Emerging markets are seeing a lot of imported price pressures, causing their economies to overheat and increasing food price pressures.

Rahul Bajoria, regional economist at Barclays Capital, sees strong food price pressures in the near-term, inflated by poor weather conditions. However, he tells CNBC’s Martin Soong & Sri Jegarajah that the pressures could become more manageable over the next 6-12 months.
